Favorite Banana Bread
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened (1 package)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ripe banana||1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed|
|Flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Combine cream cheese, sugar and margarine, mixing until well blended.
Blend in banana and eggs.
Add combined remaining ingredients, mixing just until moistened.
Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350°, 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
