Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ripe bananas||1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Semi-sweet chocolate||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Grease bottom only of 9x5x3-inch loaf pan; set aside.
Combine all ingredients except MINI CHIPS Chocolate and walnuts in large mixer bowl; blend well on medium speed.
Stir in MINI CHIPS Chocolate and walnuts.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Cool completely on wire rack.
