|Butter||1 Tablespoon (For Greasing)|
|Soft margarine||6 Tablespoon|
|Dark brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Tablespoon|
|Rolled oats||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
1 Grease a 20cm/8 inch pie dish.
2 Put the margarine, sugar and syrup into a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) ovenproof glass mixing bowl. Microwave on full power for 1 1/2 minutes.
3 Add the oats, stirring them to coat them well.
4 Press oat mixture into the prepared pie dish.
5 Microwave on power 5 for 8 minutes, giving the dish a half turn, twice, during cooking.
6 Cool for 10 minutes, then mark into fingers.
7 When cold, remove from the dish.
