1 Place the butter and oil in a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) oval or round casserole and microwave on full power for
1 1/2 minutes.
2 Cut bread into small cubes and toss into hot butter and oil. Stir to coat.
3 Microwave on full power for 2 minutes, then stir.
4 Microwave on full power for 2 minutes and stir again.
5 Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Drain on kitchen paper.
