Bread With Herb Butter
|French loaf/Vienna bread||1|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened (1 stick)|
|Parsley||2 Teaspoon, chopped|
|Basil leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Cut bread diagonally, almost through to bottom crust, in 12 equal slices.
2. Cream butter with parsley, salt, basil and paprika. Spread herb butter on each slice of bread and over top of loaf. Place on a paper towel and heat in microwave oven 1 minute at Medium-High.
