Whole Wheat Bread
|Cake yeast||1 , soaked 1/2 hour in 1/2 cup water|
|Bread flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Brown sugar/Molasses||3 Tablespoon|
|Butter/Shortening||1 Tablespoon, melted|
Water to make very soft sponge.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down and add more whole wheat flour or bran or 1 cup cooked oatmeal to make soft dough.
Put in pan to rise until a finger mark stays in.
Cook 3/4 to 1 hour at 350° F.
