Cheddar Onion Casserole Bread
|Flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Light reduced calorie mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (HELLMANN'S or BEST FOODS)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||8 Ounce (2 cups)|
|Minced green onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in mayonnaise until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add cheese and green onions; toss.
In small bowl, beat milk and egg.
Stir into cheese mixture just until moistened.
Spoon into prepared casserole dish.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cut into wedges
