Wonderful Rye Bread
|Dry yeast||1 Teaspoon|
|Warm water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Warm skim milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Caraway seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Dark rye flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||2 Teaspoon, freshly grated|
1. Sprinkle yeast into warm water. Let sit 10 minutes.
2. Mix remaining ingredients with yeast. The dough will be sticky.
3. Shape into 1 large loaf or 3 small loaves. Place on nonstick baking sheet. Let rise until double. Bake at 375Â° for 50 minutes. Cool before slicing.
