Best Banana Bread
|Flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bananas||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), mashed|
Mix first 5 ingredients; drop in shortening and mix well.
Add eggs, then half of bananas, mixing well.
Then add the rest of bananas and vanilla.
Bake in greased bread pan for 45 minutes or for 1 hour at 350°.
Test with toothpick for doneness.
