1. Dissolve yeast in 2 cups water. Mix in salt, 1 tablespoon honey and 4 cups whole wheat flour until smooth. Keep warm until light and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
2. Add 1/2 cup hot water, oil, 1 tablespoon honey, and 2 to 4 cups flour. Knead for 10 minutes.
3. Keep covered in a warm place until double in size, 1 hour.
4. Punch down and form 2 loaves. Let rise in nonstick loaf pans until double in size. Bake at 350Â° for 30 minutes. Cool and slice.
