  Active dry yeast 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs), scalded
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Warm water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Pinch

Sprinkle dry yeast over warm water in cup, add a pinch of sugar for yeast to feed and grow on; set aside for 5 minutes.
Pour hot milk into large mixing bowl with salt, sugar ane margarine.
When milk mixture is lukewarm (a drop on the wrist should feel warm not hot) add 3 cups of the flour and beat 3 minutes, using electric beater.
Use spoon to stir in remaining 3 cups of flour.
Stir until dough forms a ball.
Turn onto lightly floured board and cover with bowl for 20 minutes.
Knead dough about 10 minutes, adding flour if necessary, until it looks smooth and elastic.
Roll dough around in greased bowl, cover lightly and let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
Turn dough onto lightly floured board and knead ever so lightly for only 30 seconds.
Divide dough in half and use fingers to press dough into 9 inch squares. (2 of them.)
Shape by rolling up jelly roll fashion.
Place in two well greased 9 inch loaf pans.
Cover lightly and let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
Bake on rack in center of 375°F oven 45 to 50 minutes.
Remove from pans.
