Alleva Dairy is a dairy products manufacturing company of Alleva, which is an Italian brand selling primarily mozzarella and ricotta cheese along with other Italian specialities. It caters to the Italian community spread across various continents. Other than a variety of cheeses, it also stocks quality meats, pastas, imported olive oils, olives and Antipasto.
History
The first store was established at Grant Street, New York, in 1852 by Pina Alleva who migrated to US from Benevento, Italy. After her the next generation comprising Henry Alleva and his sister known as Aunt Erma continued the family business. Today it is the 120th year and the fourth generation of the family – Robert Alleva - now runs the business, supported by his father Robert Alleva, Sr.
