Quick Bran Muffins

|Shreds of wheat bran cereal||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Self-rising flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted (or margarine)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
Combine cereal, flour, and sugar in a mixing bowl, make a well in center of mixture.
Add butter, milk, and egg, stir just until moistened.
Spoon batter into greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full.
Bake at 400°F for 18 minutes.
