Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Bran flakes cereal 2 Cup (32 tbs) (with raisins)
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix together.
Fill paper baking cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 400° for 18 to 20 minutes
