Cooked Bran Granola
|Oatmeal||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Grains||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Any Other Flaked / Rolled)|
|Bran||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Any Combination)|
|Seeds||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Any Combination)|
|Coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy grits||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped raisins/Dried fruit||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 250°F.
Combine all dry ingredients except raisins or dried fruit.
Combine honey, oil, water and vanilla if using it, and add gradually to dry ingredients stirring to coat grains and nuts evenly.
Bake in lightly oiled baking pan for 1 to 1 1/2 hours in preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes until granola is dry and lightly browned and crisp.
Remove from oven, add fruit if using it, cool and store in airtight container.
