  Rice flour/All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Rice bran 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Low fat buttermilk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Egg whites 3 , beaten
  Non stick cooking spray 1

Sift together flour, bran, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda into large bowl.
Combine buttermilk and egg whites in small bowl; add to flour mixture.
Stir until smooth.
Pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Cook over medium heat until bubbles form on top and underside is lightly browned.
Turn to brown other side.
