Sweet-Sour Tongue

Ingredients
  Beef tongue 3 Pound
  Pickling spice 4 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Packed brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Tomato sauce 15 Ounce
Directions

Place tongue in Dutch oven; cover with water.
Sim- mer covered for 11/2 hours or until tender.
Remove from liquid; peel and slice.
Discard liquid; return meat to Dutch oven.
Combine pickling spice tied in small bag, brown sugar, lemon juice, tomato sauce and 1/4 cup water; blend well.
Pour over tongue.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
