Orange Slices With Blueberries
|Navel oranges||4 Large, peeled|
|Dry sherry||18 Tablespoon, divided (1 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons)|
|Light brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
Peel oranges and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
Place orange slices in bowl.
Sprinkle half of sherry over oranges.
Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour, turning once.
Meanwhile pick over blueberries, discarding any bruised berries.
Wash; drain on paper towels.
Toss berries with remainder of sherry.
Preheat stovetop grill.
Mix sugar and butter together.
Brush grill surface with sweetened butter.
Grill orange slices over medium heat, 1 minute on each side.
Set warm orange slices on dessert dishes.
Sprinkle with blueberries and serve immediately.
