|Castor sugar||6 Ounce|
Cut melons in two lengthwise, scoop out seeds, wrap the two halves of each melon, hermetically sealed, in aluminium foil or plastic wrap, and chill.
Wash and clean blackberries, mix with 6 oz. castor sugar and chill.
Tinned Morello cherries can be substituted if there are no berries in season.
Pile the sugared fruit into melon halves just before serving.
