Mace 'N' Cheese Biscuits
|Refrigerated biscuit dough||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese squares||12 (Thin, 1 3/4 Inch)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, softened|
|Ground mace||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Separate biscuits into halves; put bottom halves on ungreased baking sheet.
Top each biscuit half with a square of cheese.
Blend the butter, mace, and dry mustard; spread on both sides of the remaining biscuit halves and place onto cheese squares.
Sprinkle tops with poppy seed.
Bake at 400Â°F about 8 minutes, or until biscuits are lightly browned.
