Sour Cream Biscuits
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in raisins, if using, sour cream and oil; mix to form smooth batter.
Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead about 10 times or until dough holds together.
Pat out 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick and cut into rectangles about 2 x 1-1/2 inches (5 x 3 cm).
Place on greased baking sheet and bake in 425Â°F (220Â°C) oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
