Almond Tuile Biscuits
|Butter||3 Ounce (75 Grams / 3/8 Cup)|
|Granulated sugar||3 Ounce (75 Grams / 3/8 Cup)|
|Flour||2 Ounce (50 Grams Or 1/2 Cup)|
|Almonds||3 Ounce, finely shredded (75 Grams Or 1/2 Cup)|
1 Preheat the oven to 200Â°C, 400Â°F;gas6.
2 Cream the butter and sugar until light and flurry.
Sieve the flour and salt and stir into the creamed mixture with the almonds.
3 Place a teaspoonful of the mixture on a well-greased baking (cookie) sheet and flatten with a wet fork.
Repeat with 3 more teaspoonfuls and bake for 6-8 minutes until lightly coloured.
Allow to stand for a second or two, then remove with a sharp knife and curl on a rolling pin until set.
4 Repeat the process until all of the mixture is used up.
