Meat 'N' Biscuit Squares is a delightful and different meat dish. The last time I served it for an informal party at home, the guests loved it. Try this Meat 'N' Biscuit Squares recipe and you will understand why.
  Ground meat 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated american cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Tabasco sauce 14 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Parsley 2 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg yolk 1 , beaten

Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Cook meat and onion slowly, but do not, brpwn.
Stir to break meat.
Mix with cheese, 1 egg, Tabasco sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and parsley.
Mix in bowl, flour, baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt.
Cut in shortening; stir in 1 egg and milk.
Knead 15 times on floured board or table.
Divide in one-half and pat into 9-inch square pan.
Spread with meat mixture and cover with other one-half of dough, rolled to: fit.
Brush with egg yolk.
Bake 30 minutes.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
