|Vanilla essence||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Fine sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cherries||50 Gram (For Decoration)|
1 Preheat the oven to 400F.
2 In a bowl, cream the butter, sugar and ghee.
3 Gradually fold in the sifted flour and salt.
4 Stir in milk and vanilla essence, mixing well.
5 Transfer the mixture to a plastic bag or an icing bag.
6 On a baking tray or cookie sheet, gently pipe the mixture into fancy shapes.
7 Decorate with cherry pieces and place in the refrigerator until firm.
8 Bake in a hot oven until golden brown.
9 Transfer to a wire rack and cool.
10 Serve as a tea time snack and store the rest in an airtight box.
