Country Ham In Heart Biscuits

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Baking soda 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Buttermilk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon, melted
  Ham 1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced
  Mustard spread 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add buttermilk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.
Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness, cut with a 2-inch heart-shaped cutter.
Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet, bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
Brush with melted butter.
Serve with country ham and Mustard Spread.
