Fluffy Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients
  Rising flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Butter margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs), melted (buttermilk or)
Directions

Combine flour, baking powder, and sugar; mix well.
Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add buttermilk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead lightly 3 or 4 times.
Dough will be soft.
Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 21/2 -inch biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet.
Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter, and bake at 375°F for 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Brush with melted butter.
