Coffee Walnut Biscuits

Ingredients
  Walnuts 2 Ounce
  Margarine 4 Ounce
  Castor sugar 4 Ounce
  Plain flour 6 Ounce
  Instant coffee powder 1 Teaspoon
  Egg yolk 1
  Icing sugar/Coffee butter icing made with butter 4 Ounce
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Start by preheating the oven to 375°F degrees
2. Take the walnuts and chop them, using a knife

MAKING
3. In a bowl, place margarine and sugar, and cream it together, add in the flour, instant cofee and walnuts and work it throughly
4. Take out the mixture and roll cery thinly, the biscuits should be firm, avoid breaking them. Cut into 3-inch rounds
5. On a lightly greased baking tray, place the biscuits and bake for 10 minutes in the hot oven
6. Once the biscuits are baked completely, remove them from the pan and transfer onto the tin to cool it
7. Once the biscuits have cooled, transfer them to an airtight tin, and store in a cool dry place.

SERVING
8. Dust with icing sugar or sprinkle with chopped walnuts, and with coffee
