|Whole-wheat flour||6 Ounce (175 Grams)|
|Medium oatmeal||2 Ounce (50 Grams)|
|Butter/Margarine||4 Ounce (110 Grams, At Room Temperature)|
|Soft brown sugar||4 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Hot curry powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 Tablespoon (For Binding)|
1 Preheat the oven.
2 In a bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the milk.
3 Gently rub the fat evenly into the ingredients.
4 Add in just enough milk for a slightly wetter dough than you would require normally;this will prevent it from breaking.
5 Turn the dough out onto a floured working surface and roll out to about 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick.
6 Use a 2 3/4 inch (7 cm) cutter to cut out the biscuit rounds.
7 Re-roll the trimmings and add a drop of milk if the dough is a little dry.
8 Arrange the biscuits on the baking sheet.
9 Bake them for 15-20 minutes until firm and lightly browned.
10 Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
11 Transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
12 Serve as desired.
13 Store in an airtight tin.
