|Flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Tablespoon|
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Milk||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Lump sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||1 Tablespoon|
Sift flour, baking powder & salt together; cut in shortening with a knife, then add milk to make a soft dough.
Roll, cut with round cutter & place on oiled baking sheet, close together.
Dip lumps of sugar one by one in orange juice & press lump down into each biscuit.
Grate orange rind over biscuits & bake in hot oven.
