Honey and Spice Biscuits
|Plain flour||3 Ounce (75 Gram)|
|Bicarbonate of soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Caster sugar||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Rolled oats||3 Ounce (75 Gram)|
|Mixed spice||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Hard margarine||3 Ounce (75 Gram, Plus Extra For Greasing)|
|Clear honey||2 Tablespoon|
1) In a large bowl, sift the flour and bicarbonate of soda ; stir in the sugar, rolled oats and mixed spice, blend well.
2) In a small pan, add the butter or margarine, honey and milk, melt on a gentle heat, stir in the dry ingredients.
3)On well greased baking sheets drop tsps of the mixture, slightly flatten the mounds with spoon.
4) Bake in a preheated oven and bake for 25-30 min, cool on a wire rack.
5) Store in an airtight jar and serve when desired.
