Cornmeal Biscuits

Ingredients
  Cornmeal 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Milk 1 Pint
  Dry yeast 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3 , beaten
  Flour 6 Cup (96 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan, mix the cornmeal and the milk
2) Cook over a low flame till it reaches a mush like consistency
3) In ½ cup of warm water, dissolve the yeast
4) In the cornmeal mixture tip in the sugar, shortening, salt, eggs, yeast and the flour
5) Blend the mixture till nice and smooth
6) Onto a floured board, turn out the mixture and knead for about 8-10 minutes
7) In a greased bowl place the dough to rise
8) Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough
9) Using cookie cutters, cut the dough and place on a greased cookie sheet to rise
10) Bake at 350F for 20 minutes

SERVING
11) Serve warm
