|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla essence||3 Drop|
|Cornflakes||1⁄2 Pound (8 ounce)|
Crush the Cornflakes by rolling them.
Melt butter and sugar in saucepan - do not boil.
Take off stove, add vinegar.
Put back on stove and add chopped dates.
Bring to boil and stir for 5 - 7 minuts.
Mix in crushed Cornflakes, put in greased pan and mark into squares (small squares).
Leave to set and when required, cut into small pieces and roll in coconut.
