Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Pound
  Golden syrup 4 Tablespoon
  Self raising flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shelled chopped peanuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cream butter and sugar; add syrup.
Mix in the flour and, lastly, fold in coarsely chopped peanuts.
Place teaspoons of mixture about 2" apart on a greased tray and bake about 15 minutes in a moderate oven.
