Little Snack Biscuits
|Crushed cornflake||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Curry powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Grated cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (grated finely)|
|Flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Cream of tartar||1 Teaspoon|
|Custard powder||4 Tablespoon|
|Golden syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soda bicarbonate||1 Teaspoon|
|Coffee essence||1 Tablespoon|
|Celery salt||1 Teaspoon|
Foam butter and grated cheese.
Add milk and mix well.
Sift flour, baking powder, curry powder, celery salt and cayenne pepper.
Stir into first mixture and knead mixture well on a floured board.
Roll thinly and cut with small floured cutters.
Brush surface with a little milk and sprinkle each with cornflake crumbs and paprika mixed together.
Bake in a moderate oven for 12-15 minutes until crisp and brown.
