Riz Biscuits

Ingredients
  Yeast 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Warm)
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Shortening/Oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Mix yeast and sugar.
Dissolve in buttermilk.
Add salt and soda.
Add remaining ingredients.
Roll thin and cut out like biscuits.
Put in greased iron skillet.
Let rise about 1 hour.
Bake at 425 until done.
Serves 6 to 8.
