|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Buttermilk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening and add buttermilk.
Turn onto floured board and knead a few times.
Roll or pat thin.
Cut with cutter and place on pan.
Brush each top with melted butter.
Bake at 425 degrees until brown.
