Oat Biscuits

Ingredients
  Polyunsaturated margarine 2 Ounce (60 Grams)
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Rolled oats 3 Ounce (1 Cup Or 90 Grams)
  Wholemeal self raising flour 2 3⁄4 Ounce, sifted and husks returned (1/2 Cup Or 75 Grams)
  Chopped pecans 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped dates 3 Tablespoon
  Wheat germ 3 Tablespoon
For pink icing
  Polyunsaturated margarine 2 Teaspoon
  Hot water 3 Tablespoon
  Icing sugar 5 Ounce, sifted (Cup Or 155 Grams1)
  Pink food coloring 3 Drop
Directions

1. Place margarine in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Add sugar and vanilla essence and beat to combine. Beat in egg.
2. Stir in oats, flour, pecans, dates and wheat germ and mix well.
3. Place spoonfuls of mixture on lightly greased baking trays and bake for
10 minutes or until golden. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
4. To make icing, stir margarine into hot water until melted. Add icing sugar and beat until smooth. Colour with food colouring and place a little icing on each biscuit.
