Sweet Potato Biscuits For Kids

Ingredients
  Sifted flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sweet potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs), mashed
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together into a bowl and cut in shortening until mixture is consistency of cornmeal.
Mix in the sweet potatoes.
Add the milk and mix well.
Turn out on a floured board and knead lightly.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 475-degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Serve hot with butter.
