Choc Chip Biscuits
|Butter||4 Ounce (115 Gram)|
|Granulated sugar||4 Ounce (115 Gram)|
|Brown sugar||3 Ounce (85 Gram)|
|Vanilla essence||1 Teaspoon|
|Self raising flour||6 Ounce (175 Gram)|
|Soda bicarbonate||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped walnuts||2 Ounce (55 Gram)|
|Chocolate chips||4 Ounce (115 Gram)|
In a mixing bowl cream the butter, then gradually add the two sugars until very light and frothy.
Add the beaten egg, beating all the time then finally add the vanilla essence.
Sift the flour, salt and soda into the mixture and fold in with a metal spoon.
When mixed thoroughly add the walnuts and chocolate chips, combine well.
On a lightly greased baking sheet, drop teaspoons of this mixture spacing the biscuits an inch apart.
Bake in the pre heated oven for almost 12 minutes or until cooked.
Cool on a wire tray.
Allow to cool and store in an airtight tin.
