|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ground sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Strawberry jam||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Red food color||4 Drop|
|Warm milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed For Kneading)|
Sieve flour and baking powder together.
Mix egg, butter and sugar well in a large mixing bowl.
Mix flour and egg mixture and knead to a hard dough with warm milk.
Divide the dough into two.
In one portion add strawberry jam and red colour.
Keep both the doughs covered for 1/2 an hour in the fridge.
Roll out both the doughs separately into thin rectangles.
Place fruit dough over the plain one.
Roll out little more.
Roll up from longer side to make a long round roll.
Cut 1/2 cm thick slices and place on greased baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
Cool for 2-3 minutes and remove from tray.
