|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Place the flour in a bowl and cut in shortening until mixture is consistency of cornmeal.
Add enough milk to make a soft dough and mix well.
Turn out on a lightly floured board and knead lightly for 30 seconds.
Roll out 1/2 inch thick.
Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter and place on a baking sheet.
Bake in 450-degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
