|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Coconut||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), desiccated|
|Granulated sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Baking soda||3 Teaspoon|
|Boiling water||4 Tablespoon|
Step 1-Heat oven to 325 degrees Farienhite. Brush 2 cookie sheets with melted butter or oil.
Step 2-Place flour, oats, coconut and sugar in a mixing bowl, and stir until combined.
Step 3-Combine butter and corn syrup in a pan; stir over high heat until melted.
Step 4-Mix baking soda with boiling water; add to melted butter and syrup. Add to flour mixture and stir until combined. Shape level tablespoons of mixture into balls and flatten slightly.
Step 5- Place onto prepared cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until crisp and golden.
Step 6-Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes before loosening the biscuits and moving them to a wire rack to cool.
