|Sugar||8 Ounce (225 Grams)|
|Egg||1 , lightly beaten|
|Vanilla essence||1 Teaspoon|
|Nutmeg powder||1 Pinch|
|Self raising flour||10 Ounce (300 Grams)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground hazelnuts||3 Ounce (85 Grams)|
|Icing sugar||1 Tablespoon|
In a large mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar until it's light and fluffy.
Then beat in the egg, vanilla essence and the nutmeg.
Sift in the rest of the ingredients apart from the icing sugar.
Fold with a metal spoon and mix well together.
Fit a large piping bag with a 1/2" nozzle and pipe into spirals on a greased baking sheet.
Bake in the pre heated oven until just turning golden then cool slightly.
Transfer onto a cooling tray and dust with the icing sugar.
