Cranberry Tea Biscuits
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Cranberry sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs) (jellied)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated|
Sift the dry ingredients together into a bowl and cut in shortening.
Mash the cranberry sauce in a bowl.
Add the egg and sour cream and mix well.
Add to flour mixture and mix well.
Roll out on floured board to a rectangle and cut in small squares.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Place on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
