Jellied Drop Biscuits

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cream of tartar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Reconstituted nonfat dry milk/Fluid milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Jelly 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar into mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Make a well in dry ingredients; add milk all at once.
Stir quickly with a fork just till mixed.
Drop biscuit dough from tablespoon onto greased baking sheet.
Make a thumbprint in the top of each biscuit; fill each center with some jelly.
Bake at 450° till browned, 10 to 12 minutes.
