|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sharp cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), grated|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl.
Cut in shortening until of consistency of cornmeal; stir in cheese.
Add milk to flour-shortening mixture; blend just to combine ingredients.
Roll out dough on floured surface; cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
