Sift flour with baking powder and salt into bowl; cut in shortening to consistency of rice grains.
Add milk and ham; mix just to blend ingredients.
Turn onto lightly floured board; knead gently 5 to 6 times.
Roll out to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thickness; cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
