|Cheddar cheese||3 Ounce|
|Plain flour||4 Ounce|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Poppy seeds/1 teaspoon caraway seeds||2 Teaspoon|
Beat together butter and grated cheese until soft and creamy.
Sift together dry ingredients, add to cheese mixture, beat until well blended.
Take dessert spoons of mixture and roll into small balls, using floured hands.
Place on greased oven tray, flatten slightly, sprinkle poppy seeds lightly over each biscuit.
Bake in moderate oven Mark 4, 350°F., 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Loosen and cool on tray.
