Honey Filled Biscuits

  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Gold Medal)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg yolks 2
  Finely chopped candied fruits 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Honey 1 Tablespoon
  Confectioners sugar 1 Tablespoon

Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Make a well in center of flour in mixing bowl; put in sugar, salt, butter, and egg yolks.
Work the ingredients in center into a smooth paste; work in flour until well blended.
Mix in fruits.
Wrap in waxed paper.
Chill 2 hr.
Heat oven to 350° Roll dough 1/8" thick on lightly floured board; cut in 2" fluted rounds.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet 8 to 10 min., or until tinged with brown.
Cool; put together, sandwich-fashion, with honey as filling.
Sprinkle tops with confectioners' sugar
