Pecan Tea Biscuits

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Sift first 4 ingredients together; cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Combine egg and milk; add all at once to dry mixture, stirring just to moisten.
Stir in pecans.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over.
Bake at 425° about 10 minutes.
